DIY Hot Cocoa Mug Gift!

Hey friends! Need a last minute, sweet DIY gift for Christmas?

In this tutorial, I’m going to teach you how to make DIY Hot Cocoa Mugs using Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Sweater Chocolates.  This is a really simple and thoughtful project to give to family, friends, and coworkers!

So let’s go over the supplies you’ll need for this DIY.

-Jars with lids

-Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Sweater Chocolates

-Marshmallows

-Candy canes

-Holiday mugs

-Recipe stamp

-Blank index cards

-Ink pad

-Holiday ribbon

-Gift baskets

-Holiday crinkle paper

-Cellophane

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Fill mugs with Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Sweater Chocolates

2. Wrap the mugs with cellophane and tie off with holiday ribbon

3. Stamp index cards with Recipe stamp and fill out

Ingredients:

-Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Sweater Chocolates, exclusively sold at Walmart

-Marshmallows

-Candy canes

-Milk (not included)

Directions: In a saucepan, heat up milk on medium heat with Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Sweater Chocolates until melted.  Pour hot chocolate in your favorite mug.  Add marshmallows, candy canes to the hot chocolate and enjoy!

4. Fill holiday gift baskets with crinkle paper

5. Add mug, jar, candy canes, and recipe card to basket and wrap with more cellophane

DIY Christmas Ornaments

Hey friends! Looking for cute, inexpensive, and sweet DIY gift ideas for Christmas?  Look no further!

In this tutorial, I’m going to teach you how to make these DIY Christmas Ornaments using Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Tree Chocolates.  Not only is this a fun crafting project during the holidays but they are also cute to hang on your own tree!

So let’s go over the supplies you’ll need for this DIY.

-Clear, DIY Ornament shells

-Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Tree Chocolates, exclusively sold at Kroger

-Felt pieces (black, red, gold, etc).

-Black buttons

-Holiday ribbon

-Holiday stickers

-Holiday gift bags and red/green tissue paper

-Hot glue gun (Note: exercise caution when using hot glue guns.  Do not leave hot glue gun unattended or let a child use one unless they are under adult supervision. Completed craft is for decorative purposes only, please do not eat candy included in the craft).

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Fill the Ornament shells with Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Tree Chocolates

2. Cut strips of felt for Santa’s belt and use hot glue gun to secure to ornament

3. Add button on Santa’s buckle using hot glue gun

DIY BATH BOMBS!

Hey friends!  Making your own bath bombs are easier than you think!  Here are three bath bomb recipes to try.

DIY BATH BOMB RECIPE:

Bath bomb mold

1/2 cup baking soda

1/4 cup citric acid

1/4 cup corn starch

1/2 cup epsom salt 

1 teaspoon water

2 teaspoons vitamin e oil

3+ drops of food coloring

3+ drops of essential oil

Dried up roses or other flowers

Whisk

Large bowl

Measuring cups

Measuring spoons

Begin by mixing the following ingredients in a large bowl.  You might want to wear a dust mask while doing this.

1/2 cup baking soda

1/4 cup citric acid

1/4 cup corn starch

1/2 cup epsom salt

In a separate glass or bowl whisk the following ingredients together:

1 teaspoon water

2 teaspoons vitamin e oil

3+ drops of food coloring

3+ drops of essential oil

Gradually add the liquid ingredients to the dried ingredients making sure to add small drops and continuously whisking.DIYbathbombs14  DIYbathbombs16

Add the dried up roses inside the bath bomb mold and pack in the bath bomb ingredients into the mold.DIYbathbombs17

Freeze the bath bomb for 30 minutes or more and once it’s completely dry you are ready to enjoy!

Here’s how mind turned out.  It smells amazing!

I also made a lavender vanilla bath bombs.  I mixed vanilla and lavender essential oil together and they smell amazing!

The bath bomb on the right is a mocha bath bomb.  I added coffee beans, coffee grounds and chocolate fragrance oil.DIYbathbombs22 An easy way to gift these do it yourself bath bombs is simply placing it into a cute box.  I found these boxes at the Dollar Tree, here’s my haul video if you’d like to watch. DIYbathbombs23
