SUMMER FUN WITH JOHNSON’S AND #LITTLEWONDERS

I love going to the park during the summer time, the weather is beautiful, we can bring picnic food and Liam gets to play on the playground and in the sandbox!  For Father’s Day, I got Justin a picnic basket and blanket because he loves “experiences.”  It’s been a great way to spend time together as a family and enjoy the outdoors.

Zucchini Bread!

Today on Cook with April I’m sharing how to make Zucchini Bread! If you’ve never had zucchini bread it is a perfect snack for breakfast or with a cup of coffee. A quick note: you can make this recipe with or without removing the zucchini skin! Enjoy 😀

Ingredients:
3 cups bread flour
1/2 cup walnuts
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
2-3 zucchini
2 cups white sugar

Bake at 325F for 50-55 minutes.

Today on Cook with April I’m sharing how to make Mango Peach Ice Cream!  It’s a delicious and easy recipe which you can substitute with any other fruit to make things like Strawberry Ice Cream, Blueberry Ice Cream, Raspberry Ice Cream, etc. Enjoy 😀

1/4 cup sugar
1.5 cups half and half
1/2 cup frozen mangoes
1/2 cup frozen peaches

Today on Cook with April I’m sharing how to make Cappuccino Popsicles!  If you’ve never had coffee popsicles before, they’re a delicious summer frozen treat to enjoy instead of a coffee drink!  You can also make Mocha popsicles, latte popsicles, or frappuccino popsicles using this same method with different ingredients.
